I have seen the good that people can do. After decades of traveling the globe and working with many individuals, non & for profits dedicated to making people’s lives better, I look with disappointment at the way things are going in Raleigh and Washington. I am convinced that we are capable of doing so much more.
As a registered Independent (unaffiliated in NC), I am a fiscal conservative and social moderate who is tired of partisan politics, bloated budgets, higher taxes, bureaucratic innefficiencies, career politicians, corrupt officials and government’s unnecessary influence in too many areas of our lives. Our county, state and country deserves better.
We need leaders who:
- make decisions based on principles instead of politics
- are committed to improving our schools & universities
- will tirelessly advocate for improving the services we provide to our most disadvantaged citizens
- understand the concept of fiscal responsibility
- are accessible and communicate regularly with their constituents.
